Bigger stronger harder longer

Posted by: kirwan In: During

The contractions have picked up in strength and where Tracey could previously deal with them with massaging the base of her back, that is no longer enough to cover the pain.

She’s called the hospital a couple of times and they’ve suggested we hold off a little before going in as she was still reasonably able to cope with the contractions whilst she was on the phone.

We’re definitely getting closer to having to head to St Thomas’s though…

Get that taxi ordered, the rush hour will start soon and you really don’t want to be playing with that……..

And the last thing you want to do is deal with Tracey giving birth in a cab.

I don’t think Tracey would agree about it being quick.

She’s just having a second shower because the first one really helped relieve the pain.

Can you get her in a bath? That is about 10 times better! x

Good luck! Tracy – you must be suffering if Kirwan is agreeing to reruns of BHC. Hope its quick. Though I have to admit I’m rather enjoying the blow by blow account. Off for an xmas party drink (and toast to baby-in-progress). Will check back later!

Just spoken to my little boy (they never grow up – as they wil find) they are on the way to the hospital, Kirwan sounded very in control and Tracey was good and coping very well – he said.

He’s prepared for being called a variety of names!
